The Azoth 96 HE keyboard from Asus Republic of Gamers is now available in Europe, bringing magnetic switch tech and OLED features for €399.99.
Azoth 96 HE adds magnetic switches and pinpoint tuning
A major step up from earlier Azoth models, the Azoth 96 HE introduces ROG HFX V2 magnetic switches with hot-swappable functionality. Gamers can adjust each key’s actuation point from 0.1 mm to 3.5 mm, down to precise 0.01 mm increments.
It’s all powered by ROG’s Hall sensor tech. Asus claims this Hall Effect implementation boosts accuracy, improves power efficiency, and smooths out keystroke input for competitive-level responsiveness.
Keyboard calibration aims for consistency
Each unit is calibrated individually. Asus says it measures the travel distance of every key, then applies a tuning algorithm to maintain consistent feel across the board. That consistency could give the Azoth 96 HE an edge during high-speed gaming sessions where precision matters most.
Connectivity and polling rate meet pro standards
The keyboard supports three connection types: wired USB, Bluetooth, and ROG SpeedNova 8K wireless. More importantly, it can link to up to five devices at once. Whether wired or wireless, the polling rate reaches 8,000 Hz—no booster dongle required.
Azoth 96 HE adds OLED screen and advanced acoustics
A 1.47-inch OLED touchscreen displays keyboard and system info, while a multi-function knob lets players tweak actuation points on the fly. Internally, a six-layer dampening structure cuts down pinging, and the gasket-mounted frame helps mute vibrations during use.
For build quality, the Azoth uses a metal top plate and supports custom keycaps.
Price and availability confirmed for select markets
Right now, the Azoth 96 HE is available in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland for €399.99 (including VAT). It’s being sold through Cyberport, with broader retail availability expected by January.
